An irregular oval table cast in two materials working together: honed concrete bases, poured in three cylindrical plinths, carrying a microcement top finished to a stone-like surface. The plinths holds weight; the top reflects the light.

Each Isla is hand-cast and hand-finished, so the surface carries its own variation. Subtle shifts in tone and texture that come from the material itself, not from a mould. No two are identical.

Isla began with a study of weight, proportion and material contrast. Its irregular oval top rests across three cylindrical concrete plinths, creating a composition that feels grounded but not heavy.

The base is cast in honed concrete, giving the table a sense of permanence and mass. Above it, the microcement top is applied and finished by hand to create a softer, more stone-like surface that catches the light differently. The contrast between the two materials is subtle, but intentional.

Rather than chasing perfect uniformity, Isla allows the character of the materials to remain visible. Small shifts in tone, texture and finish become part of the piece, meaning each table has its own surface quality.

Produced as a limited edition of ten, Isla sits somewhere between furniture and sculpture, designed to hold a room through proportion, material and presence.
